Ok TV junkies…did you know you can watch sneak previews of certain NBC shows (full episodes) on their website? I’m watching the premiere of Lipstick Jungle today during lunch. One less show to watch next week!

I know! That’s why I’m trying to prioritize what I watch so I can cut back. Plus, I have to fight with everyone in the house to watch the hi-def TV (which has the DVR hooked up to it). I think I should get first priority since I pay for the cable bill.

And I thought I was a DVR abuser! I’ve had to prioritize which shows I’m going to watch vs. recording on the DVR. Last year, I spent every weekend trying to catch up on my shows.! I’m also going to use the option of watching TV shows on the network websites (like during my lunch hour)! Here’s my personal line up for this fall:

ER (final season)
Desperate Housewives
Grey’s Anatomy
Ugly Betty
Private Practice
Ghost Whisperer

Lipstick Jungle

Thankfully, there is no one on the new Dancing with the Stars that I follow so I can cross that show off my list. Besides, I hate most reality series anyway including American Idol.

I have to monitor my TV intake because it has the potential to control my life. I thought about ordering a second DVR for my bedroom TV but that’s just nuts. Barry’s aunty has two DVRs in her condo but she’s a retired “shut-in” who rarely leaves her building!
