Hi Kimi and Lance,
Not sure if I’m posting this in the right place. Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. I was thinking of the both of you and hope that you are doing ok. We will be lighting a candle for our baby, Tyson, and will also light one for your little Logan. I know that they are both missed and loved tremendously. Time will never change that.

Kimi … and Lance,
I’ve said before that I cannot imagine what you’re feeling or what you’re going through. And I would not be able to tell you how to move on or deal with the feelings you’re having. All I can say is that something this devastating is going to take time. You two are great people and deserve a great life. I think you have to find the strength in yourself and each other to live your new life in honor of that wonderful child you lost too soon. I don’t think Logan would want his mommy and daddy to be so sad. He was brought into this world to touch your life and it’s just wrong that he had to leave you but you have to continue to live in his honor. We all love you guys and support you the best way we know how. Hang in there.

Hang in there Kim and Lance. I know it’s hard. But yes quit wasn’t in Logan’s vocabulary. Being a rascal and giving all of us hear attacks was his way. He even flipped me off… more then once during his 8 weeks! Don’t give up!

I met you at your first HOPING meeting. If you ever feel the need to talk to another parent that has gone through something similar, please feel free to email me.

On a separate note, could you refer me to your (high risk) OB/GYN and perinatologist? I remember that you both had only good things to say about your treatment at Kapi’olani Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Aiya! I don’t even want to start thinking about all the trouble they’re getting into up there. 3 boys and 1 girl….. poor baby Z! No…. Poor boys…. she’s probably testing the boys like she tested us nurses with her desats….. (let me desat, you’ve been with the other baby to long! No wait you turned around and took a step my way, I’ll come up now. Hehe!)

Thank you for the reminders to count our blessings…I know life’s been so rough for you guys this year…you sure do put up a brave front…I’m glad you realize that you have all of us to catch you if you feel like you’re falling…I’m always here for you…you guys have caught me too! That’s just how this family is, yeah! Life has ups and downs…you guys sure did reach rock bottom…the up side is that you have each other, and your relationship is solid…Logan taught us all so many lessons…we all look at the two of you and learn many lessons too…
