Weird Bug

This was crawling up the wall in my office this afternoon… It looked like something out of a scifi movie… and then it started flying around.  CREEPY!!!

Anyone have any idea what this is?

    Found out what this is… it’s an emerald cockroach wasp. The wasp was introduced in Hawaii in 1941 as a form of biocontrol. As you can guess, it was an unsuccessful attempt. Personally, I think I’d rather have the roaches than the wasp!
