My Birthday
Here’s our first post that’s not all about Logan! As many of you know, my birthday was on June 25th . . . Lance & I were fortunate enough to be able to celebrate my birthday with a 3-night stay in Waikiki. Lance’s parents redeemed some time share points for the hotel stay & graciously offered it to us so that we could cut down on our driving time for a few days. The time share unit was great . . . there was a living room, dining table, kitchen (with a full size refrig, stove, oven, toaster, microwave, blender, rice pot, etc.), bathroom (with a Jacuzzi tub!!), & master bedroom.
On the night of my birthday, Lance took me to dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. We ate waay too much & almost had to roll back to our hotel, but it was definitely worth it! 
I definitely wasn’t expecting to already be a mommy on my birthday this year, but I guess Logan had plans of his own. I was so lucky to be able to spend my birthday with Lance & Logan . . . my 2 favorite guys!

hey kim…
happy belated birthday…i’m so sorry I didn’t call you…i meant to call you on wednesday but it was the first day of school for our new 6th graders and things got so busy…it sounds as if you had a nice few days in waikiki and a great dinner with lance…i’m glad you were able to spend some alone time with lance even though i’m sure you spent most of it talking about logan!…that’s a true parent – even when you’re alone, all you can think about are the kids!
i hope logan is doing better now…i know he’s a had a rough couple of days but it sounds as if he’s pulling through…like you said, he’s a stubborn, fiesty one – i wonder where he gets that from?…=)
thanks for keeping us posted with your blog and pictures of logan…i look forward to the updates because even though I want to call you to see how he’s doing, I don’t want to bother you either…this way, I can keep up with his progress without bothering you too much…
well, just thought i’d write to let you know we are thinking of you…give logan our love and wish him a happy 1 month birthday! we’ll come and visit soon!

Hey Kim,
Happy belated birthday! We were sad to hear about Logan’s setback but he’s a fighter and will bounce back soon. Thanks for adding new photos of Logan. He’s adorable!
Call if you need anything and try to get some rest. I’ll try to stop by before we leave on our trip on July 19.
